Why Tryline Performance
Most rugby players are training out of a program that has nothing to do with rugby, let alone their position. This is what I built to fix that.
What you get
- A program written for your position. All 15 on the pitch, grouped into 12 coaching profiles. Priorities and exercise selection shift depending on where you play.
- Read through by a coach. Every program passes through Oskar before it's sent. If something doesn't sit right, he changes it.
- Built around your injuries and equipment. The assessment asks. Those answers change which exercises are in the program — not just how heavy.
- Made for rugby. Speed, power, contact, repeat effort. Not chest day and arm day.
- Delivered fast. Full eight-week program in your inbox within 48 hours.
Who it's for
Rugby players who want a program that respects the game they actually play. Under-18s are supported with a guardian consent step.
Who built it
I'm Oskar Lindbaek — a UMass Amherst student, Sports Performance Intern with UMass Football, and a rugby player. I grew up playing in Ireland at Glenstal Abbey and now play in the US. Tryline exists because too many players I know are stuck with training that has nothing to do with rugby.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a generic gym plan?
A generic plan doesn't know your position, your injuries, your equipment or your schedule. This does. Your answers change what's in the program — a prop and a wing don't end up with the same block.
Who is this for?
Rugby players — school, club, college, academy. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian completes a short consent step before the program is written.
Why is it built around position?
There are 15 positions on the pitch and they play very different games. A hooker needs a neck and shoulders that hold up in contact and a lineout throw that survives fatigue. A wing needs top-end speed and single-leg strength. Same sport, different training.
Who's writing this?
Oskar Lindbaek — the founder. Rugby player, strength & conditioning student and coach. Every program passes through him before it's sent.
How fast is it delivered?
Within 48 hours of you submitting the Player Profile.
What does it cost?
$54 USD, one-time. That's it for the eight-week program.
